I'm real.

It was a dark and stormy night as I got out of my car, and fumbled with my keys to find the one to unlock the door. The crunch of snow below my feet was very gloomy, and the only thing that could be heard through the night. As darkness continued to swallow the world, I made my way to my door to unlock it, only to find it was already unlocked.
That was odd. I know I didn’t leave the door unlocked. I never did, not even when I was leaving for just a few minutes; I didn’t like to risk it. I slowly opened the door and put one foot in, peeking past the door. No lights were on from what I could see and I didn’t hear anything inside. I waited. A couple seconds past by, a minute…still, nothing. I opened the door a little bit more and stood in the threshold, still afraid of who might be inside. I felt for the light switch. Once I found it, I tried to muster the courage to actually turn the light on.
I waited another minute, allowing my eyes to adjust to the darkness inside the house to see if anything was out of place; everything seemed to be where I had left them. I mustered the courage to flick the switch, but nothing happened. “Great, the power must be out,” I thought to myself as I reached in the drawer for the flashlight, and turned it on. Slowly scanning the place for anything out of the ordinary, but nothing seemed to be out of place once again. I turned to my left, and that’s when I saw it…
Something slipped out of the living room and into the hallway, toward the bedroom. I jumped. I wasn’t sure if it was a person or an animal. Then again, I assumed the former because an animal wouldn’t be able to let itself in, I didn’t think. I took a deep breath and aimed the flashlight in that direction, walking toward the hallway. I looked down the hallway and there was nothing there, but my bedroom door was open. When I reached the door, I aimed my flashlight in my room. Someone was standing up, going through my drawers.
“What do you think you’re doing?” I asked. They had to have already been aware of my presence because of the light, so I didn’t have much to lose.

Time to work on my novel?
:/
Well, do you think maybe participating in this idea of mine may possibly clear your mind of all stress, since you’ll be thinking about writing something you’re not really thinking about - something spontaneous? :D
Hmm…sure! :D

Seconds on the clock tick by as if they’re moving lightning speed. There is no slow tick…tock…tick…tock. It sounds more like a stream of bullets escaping a machine gun. And you’re waiting. You’re waiting for everything to click, to be okay; to be great, even. But why? Why are you waiting? You wait and wait and wait and soon it’s a year from now, five years, ten years. Time slips away from you and you have no way of stopping it. So here’s an idea: Don’t wait. Make what you want to happen, happen. Otherwise, chances upon chances upon chances pass you by. If you initiate, you could find your dream job, your best friend, the love of your life.
Stop waiting. Get going.
